Hey everybody:)
Now i have been in Brisbane for almost two weeks:)(which feels like a month at least, something happening all the time)
since my last contribution i have been too the Lone Pine Koala Sancturay, that was a great place, where i got to meet many many kangooros, Koalas( and i got to hold one:)), wombats, dingos, tazmanian devils and much more:)
I have had orientation week at school, where i discovered that i am far from the only Norwegian here(think it is around 400 just at my school) i met some great Norwegians i have been out with a few times, really nice people
Apparently they have this Norwegian club at school that does all sorts of cool stuff all the time, and it is the biggest club at school, so that sounds kinda fun:)
The school is as i sad last time very big, but it is also very nice:) easy when you have been there a few times. i found the school Gym/pool and discovered that it was expensive(500 dollars a year!) so i am considering just to join the pool part, and just swim alot, and maybe do some running outside. I mean 500 dollars is not that much for a yearly membership but when you pay 10000 dollars in tuition it is alot and its close to what we pay in Norway, so i dont like that.
I have gotten a little more customed to the climate/weather down here. its is really sunny and nice every day, but gets dark awfully quickly at night, but easier to sleep then:P
Yesterday i went to the Australia Zoo(the one Stewe Irwin started), there where also a lot of new animals there, they had these huge elephants and tigers, they where very into crocodiles:) and had a lot of other animals to:)
took the train there from here to there and back again( 3 hours) cost me 6 dollars(30 kroner) very very cheap( i like)
i have been to the cinema twice this week. first i saw ice age 3, which was a great movie:) definetively recomendable to anyone:) i laughed alot. today i saw Bruno which was okay, but mostly embarrasing, maybe a little too much here and there, but had some great laughs too:)
Movietickets is 5 dollars(25 kroner) which is amazing! like 3 times that price in Norway:S
I also got a new housemate here, a german guy moved in two days ago, and is staying for 2 weeks i think it was, and then moving to another house..
Tuesday will be my first day at school with lectures, which will be interesting to try:)
Tommorow i am going to see Harry Potter, cant wait for that one:)
So until next time, have a great time:)
