The day started off with an early morning wake up... Damn jet lag! But once the hour was decent enough to venture out I made the stroll to Notting Hill. Portobello Road Markets did not disappoint and I even managed to find the Travel Book Shop and was surprised to see that the layout is still exactly the same from the movie set! After picking up a few bargains I made my way through Kensington Garden Road (which still has to be my most favorite street in the world! Although the "no photo taking" rule is a lil annoying cause I can't share the gorgeous views with everyone!) and wandered along the outskirts of Hyde Park to Knightsbridge where I continued with my retail therapy in H&M, Top Shop & Harrods. They day was still young so I jumped on the tube and made my way to Piccadilly Circus. Walked my way up Regent Street towards Oxford Circus and continued the shopping spree until I ended up back in Hyde Park. With my feet a lil worse for wear I picked up a bike hire and took a scenic ride through the park for a couple of hours. Headed up to Whiteleys for some Italian dinner and now bed time. A big day ahead tomorrow with a tour to Stonehenge, Bath, Cotswold and Stratford Upon-Avon :-)
