So the day finally came where I left home for my European Summer. Something which I have dreamt of doing for as long as I can remember. As much as the flight sucks Emirates did help with the long haul. Between the bigger seats and quite nice food (100% Kristy approved!) it was ok. Glad I don't have to step foot on a flight for a while now too :-)
So after a smooth trip on the Heathrow Express then tube to Bayswater I arrived at the Hotel Umi for a much needed shower and change of clothes then it was straight to some shopping @ H&M and Zara (couldn't believe the Doobee song was on in Zara when I walked in!) Contained myself and didn't purchase anything but did see a few thins I will definitely head back and grab at the end of the trip!
Then I took a leisurely walk down the Queensway and a quick look around Kensington Palace and Hyde Park for a few photo shots.
Grabbed an early dinner and some Ben & Jerry's for desert and with that I am back in the London swing. Off to bed to try and get a good nights sleep cause I have lots planned for tomorrow... First stop, Portobello Road Markets!
