Left Rome and headed on a long day of bus driving to Venice. Arrived in the early evening and headed straight to check into the hotel. It was a really nice one only a 10 minute bus ride into the Venice island. Had an early / boring night doing some much needed washing after dinner and headed to bed. Left for Venice island early the next morning were Bronwyn took us on. Walking tour of the town then it was time to take a gondola ride around the waterways of Venice. I enjoyed it just as much my second time around although the heat was a major difference! Afterwards we spent the rest of the afternoon shopping around the town until Amy and I headed back to the hotel for a siesta. After a lil nap a group of us headed back into town for some yummy Italian dinner (3 courses for 13 euro!!) afterwards we just soaked up the Venician atmospher in St Matks Square (or lack of) and grabbed some gelato and head to a cool bar which had bras strung to the rooftop. Headed home on he night rider bus back to the hotel xox
