Opening day is finally here! BB, CH and I were up at 435am and ready to go. We rushed out to waters edge to get our spot and to watch for the flare over the water that signals " its go time". For years my friend George Luna has been inviting me to attend the Eastern Sierras Opener. Attending the opener is a family tradition that has carried on for 40 years. His family refers to the trip as Coopers Pescadores, named after one of the trips founding fathers and Georges Uncle who is no longer with us.
