Traveling half way around the world in search of some relief for Kobi's severe eczema has been worth the time & money.
This year at the end of Kobi's 2nd water hydro-therapy treatment at Eau Thermale Avène we will leave with a boy who's Scorad Reading is 0.
Last year when we arrived his Scorad reading was 42,25. To put this into perspective a Dermatologist would normally medicate someone who's Scorad is above 38 until it has come down before accepting them i...nto the centre for treatments.
We have been told due to the severity of his Eczema before, this is what has caused areas of his skin to loose it's pigment. Over time (years) hopefully the colour will come back in these places.
Kobi's skin is feeling extremely soft at the moment, but we have been advised to be careful as his skin is highly sensitive & can react easily. So like alays it is a matter of keeping up the routine of daily filters showers and applying Avene products.
