Once again we arrive in this Beautiful little village, Avene. After a quick flight from Paris to Montpellier (along with Pet's apparently, cause in Europe your pet's can fly on the plane with you) we picked up our hire car, got the GPS sorted in English, found our radio station then off went went on our way to Avene. Mum managed to stay on the right side of the road (ha ha ha) and got us here safely. We were greeted by some of the same lovely people as last year & settled into our appartment. Unpacked & chilled out for afew hours before heading off to Les Muirs for Dinner. They remembered Kobi from last year and he struted in like he owned the place. They checked with us on Kobi's food allergies and got out the food request we had to send through- we all had abit of a chuckle as they said "oh yes there are quite afew aren't there, it's 2 pages" ha ha yes. Early night because the DR's appointment and Kobi's first treatment is Monday around lunchtime. Off to breakfast & once again the lovely staff recognised Kobi. Breakfast and Dinner time's were always a chance to socialise with others and get talking. This morning was a bit emotional for me. There was a gorgous little girl about the same age as Kobi, she was sitting with her mum having breakfast. The poor little thing was just scratching all over. I really felt sorry for her, I was nearly in tears. I just wanted to go up and say "Don't worry, it will get better" I wish I could have fast forwarded her a year, like to where Kobi is now. When we look back, we were the one's this time last year inspired by all the others before us. We were the one's hopeful that this "Magic Water" would give Kobi some sort of relief, even if it was just a little that would be better than how he was. It seems now that the journeys of our children are giving others hope. It is great to spread the word and let other families in the same situation know that there are other alternatives to cortisones, and that there is another option- even if for some of us it is half way around the world. Kobi is really excited to be going back to the "Magic Water" & I think he is looking forward to giving all the lovely ladies kisses (bisou bisou) and flowers when we arrive at the centre. We look forward to posting photos of his treatments and the centre where all this healing happens............
