We had Kobi's Dermatology DR appointment at 12:00noon and she was amazed to see how much of a difference Kobi's skin has changed.
Kobi has been prescribed the Bath with jets, General Shower, General Spray & Compresses on his face, neck & ankles. We will see the DR after the first week and after the second week as they can flare and changes may need to be made to the treatment plan.
Kobi was really excited to be going to the "Magic Water House" and got some flowers to give to the ladies when he walks in. We signed and organised everything, grabbed a robe & off he strutted to the change room.
He was trilled to be wearing his own "special robe" that a friend had made especially for this trip and he had some cute little swimmers that AussieBum had made for him for the trip also- Very spoilt little boy & was loving getting ready.
Once changed he knew exactly where to go. We bumped into many a staff who remembered him and gave him kisses.
Off into the Bath with Jets & he didn't want to wait to get in. He was splashing around & loving it. He was trying to dive under the water to the other end of the bath- this was a BIG THING as before he never wanted to put his head under the water & was always very scared as water on his face used to hurt. It was awesme just seeing him so happy and playing in the water and I didn't have to encourage him to get under.
Next it was the Compresses, I wasn't sure how that was going to go on his face. Well tht was easy, the wonderful ladies said "Kobi, aren't you a Superhero?, Superhero's wear masks" so he wore the mask, had his neck done & also his ankles.
Afetr this was the showers, 1/2 spray (childs height) and he went in by himself & stayed in. I sat outside the cubicle and all icould hear was laughing and giggling- wow what a difference.
Now for a drink, off to the "Lion that squirts the water from it's mouth". Drinking the water of Avene is just as important as having the treatments in it.
Wow the first day was a sucess, let's hope it continues like this.
Oh no, Kobi's had a little accident, trying to be a "Superhero" and has fallen over on the gravel and skinned his knee. Lucky we have some special creams & lots of Magic Water around us..
