What an amazing night!

We had a spit braai (barbeque a whole animal on a stick) with the Pietersen family. I've never experienced that before, and the meat was just soo tender and had a really nice taste! Made me feel a bit like a cave man or a true Swedish Viking when we cut the meat from the lamb and had the first taste to see if it was done.

Such a nice group of people. Very real, humble, happy and nice! It didn't take me long to like them all a lot and they really made me feel like South Africa is my second home!

The fireworks from the city centre in front of Table Mountain were just stunning, and to be able to be outdoors on new years eve without freezing you ass off is actually quite nice for a change ;)
