A Kitesurfer's Blog
Howzit!
So we started off with an SUP (Stand UP Paddleboard) session today before breakfast. We went to Small Bay where people had just seen a family of whales swim by. The waves made it a real challenge to paddle, but it was great fun and a good workout, which I'm sure I'm gonna feel in strange muscles tomorrow ;)
Right now we are starting up a braai (that's the Afrikaans word for barbeque) here at the Surf House. I'm gonna braai a lot of meat and a foil package of veggies with loads of garlic. We'll top it off with a couple of Amstel, or three ;)
Just not too many, as I'm teaching kitesurfing tomorrow :)
All the best! Jonas

Johanna It sounds like you're having a great time. Hope you will succeed with your teaching down there.
Frida Ramsmo It sounds amazing to see a family of whales swim by! Have you seen any sharks? Good luck with the teaching!
josefin barbeque sound nice! i'm jealous of the people that saw the whales.
Michaela How's it going with the kitesurfing lessons, are the kids giving you a hard time? The braai sounds like fun=) (Braai sounds like some kind of drug)
Julia Westfelt Jonas, when you're coming home I hope you invite us to a barbeque party, so we can trie some of the things you're eating. It would have been fun if you showed up drunk at the lesson next day. haha!
Andy "´Kungen" Lust can you bring me a whale home to sweden? please I would like to have him like a pet ;)
Amanda Niice with a wale family, didn´t you take pictures so you can show us too? :D I wonder if your "students" in South Africa are just as annoying as we are? ;) hope not! :)
Pontus I think you should drink more Amstels. Can't drink too much. You should show up drunk on skype sometime, it would make the lesson so much funnier.
Malin Borglund Do you never get tired of the sea ? I guess you will have webb (simhud) between your toes and fingers when you come back !
Jakob Atrushi I have read you Jonas. You are forcing us to read and write comments on your blog so you can get better statistics ;)
Victoria It sounds fun to have lessons for surfing, but it is just boys you learn surfing or is it girls too?
