Kim's Travels
So last night we took the long walk home from Thongsala to Ban Tai for the last time and chilled out at the resort for our last night. We had to do lots of really boring things like sorting taxi's, making breakfast for the boat, collecting laundry, packing etc.. etc.. So after all that was out of the way we had a very relaxed dinner right on the beach and celebrated our time on the islands. I had such a brilliant time there and will always remember it as one of the most beautiful places where I was so relaxed. After dinner was over and we had reminisced about our fabulous trip, to bed it was. This morning we were up extremely early in order to catch our boat back to the main land. I kept my fingers crossed the whole way, praying it wasn't like our first boat experience as I really didn't fancy sea sickness again! Thankfully it wasn't and the journey was pretty easy. I would have made the girl guides proud with my tupperware packed breakfast I had prepared the night before for the two of us. Haha! Anyway after the three hour boat journeys we started the 10 hour boat journey back to Bangkok. Apart from a few smelly whiffs from the toilet and one girl being sick next to me it was a pretty painless journey and we made it back to Bangkok by 9 o'clock. We dumped our stuff at the hotel and wandered around Koh San Road for a while in search of some street dinner. After experimenting with some seriously dodgy I-don't-know-what I safely opted for corn on the cob, and delicious it was too. So guys, I'm hanging out a bit before getting lots of sleep in to conserve all that shopping energy! See you soon my lovelies. Xxx.
