So to celebrate Tom's birthday we went to a great little Thai seafood restaurant where the food was fantastic. I had smoked whole seabass with ginger and Tom had glass noodles with mixed seafood - it was brilliant. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM! We woke up this morning and enjoyed a fresh fruit brekkie on the beach, I gave Tom a little bracelet and a make-shift birthday card (postcard!) and we planted ourselves under the scorching sun and settled there for a good 6 hours! We opted on taking the walk into Thongsala again for a bit of exercise and to check it out properly. I managed to spend yet more money on yet more dresses (!) and we passed the usual odd things you pass walking down ...

Well after updating yesterday we settled ourselves in another funky little place on the beach in Haad Rin and watched a film/read our books etc... After a little meander up the main road we found somewhere to have dinner and I managed a Thai Green Curry - hurrah, I'm very proud. We went back on to the beach and wondered up to the "Mountain Bar" - a cool higglty-pigglty place in the rocks where we had a drink over looking the sea. When we enquired about the drinks...

Last night we met up with Tom's diving group and watched the scuba DVD which was very cool to see what they all got up to and how it all worked. Then we moseyed on down to Sairee where we all had dinner at Choppers and drinks at Pure (bar right on the beach with candles everywhere - gorgeous!).
