Kim's Travels
Last night we met up with Tom's diving group and watched the scuba DVD which was very cool to see what they all got up to and how it all worked. Then we moseyed on down to Sairee where we all had dinner at Choppers and drinks at Pure (bar right on the beach with candles everywhere - gorgeous!). It was a good night; I met a few people who happen to live close by at home and a few that are going to Exeter so that was quite exciting. We strolled back home and woke up this morning bright and breezy, in preparation for our boat trip to Koh Phangan - which I was really dreading considering the last one but it was surprisingly pleasant. Back on dry land we got a taxi to our accomodation; Hansa Resort. It is a great place, although quiet, we're staying in a mini bungalow directly on the beach and its very relaxing. So after chilling out for a bit, grabbing a bite to eat and waiting for the daily storm to pass we decided to wander in to Haad Rin (the happening bit, where they hold the full moon party monthly). We walked for about 40 mins but then found out it was another hour so hopped in a taxi! Its prettly cool here, lots of bars, shops restaurants etc... So we'll probably hang around here for dinner/drinks and head back to Hansa for bed (with the rats according to other guests... Eek...)
