Bondi. Ew. Today we packed up from Base in the City and headed for Bondi. The weather at the moment is 100% awful; raining heavily 24/7 and we'd spent so much time in the city we decided it was time to move on. We got to Bondi and checked in to the slighty skanky 'Bondi Sands'. I was in fits of laughter for a good few hours as it was POURING and everything we read was like 'Bondi, the best beach in the world', 'Top Ten Things To Do In Australia, No. 1 Bondi', 'Sunbathe in Bondi'... We knew it wasn't going to be great weather but apparently this is the worst rain they've had in 30 years - typical! Anyway it didn't stop us having a good time and we checkout the town which is really cool; lots of juice bars, surfer shops etc... and I imagine the beach would be fab in summer. The place was kind of deserted so we decided to stay in the hostel watching Home & Away, Neighbours, and Australia Big Brother! It was a good night and we've decided we're heading to Coogee tomorrow...
