Kim's Travels
What a wicked day. The lads were working today so Izzy and I spent the time chilling out together. First of all we went to Darling Harbour which was just meant to be a passing visit but it was so gorgeous we ended up staying for about 3 hours just sitting by the water drinking our smoothies, sunbathing and watching the street artist. It was so fab; the harbour was beautiful and the fact the sun was shining made it all the better, there wasn't a cloud in the sky! The street artist was kept us amused for a good hour too which was entertaining, even if he was a bit chicken oriental... Then we went on to Sydney Fish Market which was out of this world. I've never seen so much fish in my life! It was incredible, fish, fish and more fish, everyday, unusual, huge platters, world famous fish and chips; it was awesome. We brought some sashimi for our sushi making fun and headed back home through the harbour again. We made our sushi at the hostel which we were seriously impressed by. We surprised our selves with out sushi techniques! Then we got ready for our (second, ahem) Neighbours Night which was BRILL. We were extremely drunk and got to have photos with Toadie, Connor and Boyd (oh my god the fitness) who was very chatty and lovely! Anyway we danced the night away again with some nice people we met plus the Scottish gals from NZ (Liz and Claire) and it was to bed in preparation for no doubt another fab day in Sydders.
