Kim's Travels
What an eventful day. Basically it was another early start to take a visit to the Blue Mountains. The journey wasn't too long and we stopped off to see the Olympic Park which was pretty cool, its exciting to think London will have something like that in a few years! We snapped a few photos and continued on to Wentworth Falls which was beautiful. We did a bush walk seeing the stunning waterfall and little beauty spots along the way. I kept smelling the tea tree and eucalyptus leaves too! We then took a visit to another look out point (Echo Point) to see the whole valley and the three sisters which again, was stunning. We decided to walk along the side of the mountain and meet the bus driver later on. I really enjoyed being surrounded by all the trees and beauty. After taking in the views we got back in the bus to visit a wildlife park; another opportunity to see kangaroo's - hurray! Only, we were in the bus on our way (drifting off) when we were involved in a pretty scary car crash. DO NOT PANIC, WE ARE ALL FINE. 3 ambulances, 3 police vehicules, 2 fire engines and the press all arrived very quickly to check us all over and take the injured to hospital. Luckily noone was seriously hurt, but three got taken away in stretchers. I won't go into detail but we're all fine, and I got interviewed for TV and photographed for The Daily Telegraph - every cloud has a silver lining! Anyway, obviously we didn't get to see the kangaroo's, and had to hang around for about two hours before getting the train back home. We treated ourselves to a Thai meal and we're gunna watch another DVD to chill out. Tomorrow we're off to Manly. Love to you all. Xxx.
