Extremely hungover is not the condition to be in to go up Table Mountain, especially on another roasting hot day that was also very cloudy.. It had to be done though as it's a must see when in Cape Town even though the visibility was about five meters! So if people ask me if I went up Table Mountain,I can say yes, but if they ask how the view was,I can say nothing.
I was the only person on the cable car going up the mountain apart from some staff who told me I was wasting my time and money going up and they were right... I could barely see the table in front of me never mind the mountain.. I did meet some students from my university in Korea though which was a reminder of work that I didn't need.. It was freezing cold (probably 15oC...)so I had to buy an 'I love Cape Town' top which I will never wear again after today. I do love Cape Town but I hate buying touristy s***e like that- that's for the Americans..
If I could turn back the clock, I would have stayed in my bed and that's where I'm going now. Cold, windy, cloudy mountains don't cure hangovers unfortunately..
