Perched on one of the hills surrounding Prague, the National Technical Museum was generally considered to be one of the highlights of the trip. There were many different exhibitions, ranging from the Printing Press to Photography to the Uses of Chemistry, all of which offered a fantastic insight into the workings of that field.
My favourite exhibition would have to be the Uses of Chemistry section, as it not only showed real, applicable uses of amazing chemistry, it also explained them in layman's terms without being patronising. Another favourite would have to be the hologram section; they were so realistic, it was like you could reach out and touch them!!
One of the best things about the museum overall was the interactivity of it; in almost every exhibition there were activities such as the television exhibition (in which Olly Fox got shouted at in Czech by an old woman), and the espionage exhibition (which was pretty much all activities and took up around 90% of the time Tristan spent in the museum).
It was a fantastic museum and despite going twice during the trip, I would still like to go again and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
