Today was a very lazy day. We had booked in to go on a helicopter ride but it was raining and not a good day for it so the helicopter driver cancelled it. Which was a shame.
When I woke up this morning I felt a little bit dusty with a headache. We got dressed and then headed in to the city to get some fergburgers. We ordered our burgers and were told there was a one hour wait so we went and had a hot drink in a nearby diner while we were waiting.
After we picked up our burgers we took them back to the hotel to eat. I ordered a venison burger called Sweet Bambi. It was pretty tasty. Not sure if I would wait one hour for it again but I'm happy to have tried a "famous" fergburger.
We had a lie around and watched tv until around 5pm when we headed to the city for dinner. We decided to go back to Speights because it was so good the first time. I had some pea and ham soup and then some chocolate cake for dessert. It was tasty and I feel very content now.
We are back at the hotel to have an early night. A pretty lazy day today but I don't do that often so I feel okay about it. Tomorrow we are driving to Hanmer Springs. It's a seven hour drive so it'll be a long day.
