Today we went on a day trip to Nagasaki. The train ride took about two hours so it was a fair way to go. When we arrived we made our way via street car to the Nagasaki Peace Museum. Nagasaki was hit by an atomic bomb two days after Hiroshima was hit and it was after this bombing that Japan officially surrendered. Today is our three year anniversary! Happy anniversary Shannon! To celebrate, kind of, we went to Fukuoka aquarium also known as Marine World. We moved by train and arrived at the virtually empty Marine World, which was a refreshing change from Osaka aquarium and basically everywhere else in Japan. Today we decided to relive some of our time in Beppu by starting the morning off with a bath! The hostel has a public bath room, separate for men and women, and both the private showers were occupied so we thought "eh, let's do it". This was our last morning in Beppu so after we checked out of Happy Neko we decided to leave our bags there for a bit and go have one last soak in the onsen. We slooped up to the blue water onsen and purchased our tickets for the public bath. We gave ourselves a bit of extra time this visit and agreed to meet up in an hour. We started the morning out right with another trip to the onsen. This time we went to a different one that was supposed to have blue water but it didn't look that blue to us.
