This blog will be short because in order to create a photo album, there must be a blog. Steven and I havent created a blog entry yet, so we will be back to fill it in later...but, we have free internet here, so we are going to go ahead and create the album (it takes much longer).
oh, also, sorry that some of the pictures are sideways...we cant figure out how to rotate when the computer prompts are in other languages. But, we are trying to work on that
We traveled to Prague with our new friends, Adam and Evan. That night we found out how sweet the Czech Crown was to the US Dolla…holla!!We had some delicious goulash and beers…which with the exchange rate ended up being less than a Euro…so just around a dollar.Steven, Adam, and Evan went out on a pub crawl that night and had a great time. However, on the way home, they found out one of the downfalls of Prague.Pickpocketers who creep around late at night…aka, the gypsies of Prague. After a scary walk home for the boys, we woke up to a beautiful morning. We toured around for a bit and then when sitting in the square were presented with the opportunity to go on a bike tour.Since we love bike tours and know not much about Prague, we jumped at the idea…and it was almost a bad idea. Our guide was wretched. He gave no history, bashed anything that wasn't "sitting in a bar, sipping coffee and acting like a local" and wore SKINNY PANTS while giving the tour. Not very bike tour guide of him…that should have been a warning sign actually.Luckily there were a lot of other great people on the tour and we had an okay time.We left the next afternoon to head to Budapest, Hungary and had quite an experience on the bus. There was actually a stewardess, all the seats were leather, they played numerous movies, served drinks and snacks and the drivers switched during the 7 hour ride.So there were actually 3 employees on the bus which was carrying only 11 people. It was very nice.
