After a great night sleep a chance to view the lodge in daylight did not disappoint. Each lodge is spread out over a large area of the coffee plantation which gives privacy. With a gardened restaurant, and bar area around a fountain, add to that a quiet pool area and a few other amenities and you are talking heaven.

A hearty bfast followed by lazing by the pool and a few drinks at the bar. First beer was amazing, it was ice cold kilimanjaro beer.

Some more sun bathing then sampling the local coffee before a short snooze. Dinner later and then safari gets under way tomorrow.
