Arrived in mt kilimanjaro after a bit of turbulence in our propeller powered plane.

A 45 min shuttle in the dark to Arusha coffee lodge built on a coffee plantation, we could see the faint outline of mt kilimanjaro in the dark.

Greeted by Theo, one of the owners with iced coffee, even in the dark you could see the place is amazing.

We were taken to our little lodge complete with four poster bed, lounge, wood burner etc. Looking fwd to our day of leisure tomorrow with a safari briefing with our driver Alfred.
