So after one of the longest nights of my life standing up and being shoved around for 13 hours I made it to Bangkok.
I made my way to my friends house and picked up so breakfast which consisted of a curry and rice and some kind of sweet rice and fruit mix.
After arriving at my friends place I went straight to sleep and didn't get up to later in the afternoon. In the evening we met up with 4 new Couchsurfers that were staying at Goys and had dinner together. A few of the Couchsurfers wanted to go out but after 48 hours with little sleep I needed to go to bed.
Thursday was a fairly slack day as I was still feeling quiet tired and a bit unsure as to what my next move will be in Thailand. In the afternoon I went for a big walk and tried to figure out a plan for my last 4 weeks traveling before heading back to Australia for my sisters wedding.
In the evening Angie and I went out for dinner and then hired a movie to watch!
Friday was much like the previous days with nothing too exciting happening. Definitely time to get moving again am getting board and itchy feet! Tonight we had a party to go too, one of Angie's friends has just opened a cocktail bar and for her birthday was having all her friends come around for cocktails and food.
The area was very flash and yes I was seriously underdressed in my shorts, singlet and flip flops. The cocktails were great though and I mean who am I to turn down free cocktails ;)
I have also just been invited on Sunday to join my friend for a nights accomodation at the 5 star Park Plaza Hotel in Bangkok - with fitness centre, rooftop pool, complimentary snacks/drinks and I am praying for a free breakfast buffet!
Saturday was another uneventful day, I did however go to the train station and book my ticket to Chiang Mai for Monday night. I got a really cheap ticket in 3rd class but the catch is that it's a 15 hour train ride. In the evening I made myself a nice mango salad and caught up on emails etc.
