Today was a bit of a waiting around day as the plan was to catch a bus to Cusco tonight. At 10am we had to check-out but the woman was kind enough to let us leave our things in the spare room. We went for a nice walk in the morning up to a viewpoint of the city/lake and got some nice photos. After this we went for a walk to the bus station and brought our bus tickets for the night bus. Amazingly there were like 20 different bus companies offering various levels of comfort and services - we went with the cheapest that had a toilet. We walked around a bit more and then headed back to the hostel for a warm lunch - argh what a treat. The rest of the afternoon we waited around and caught every glimpse of sun as it pierced through the clouds. 9:30pm came and it was time to head to the station and catch our bus, by the time we arrived we were frozen solid and preying the bus would be warm. Luckily the bus wasn't too cold and was not bad for the price we paid. We both fell asleep relatively quickly as the first part of the trip was on smooth roads.
