Today I got up early to do my exercises and have breakfast with Sierra before she headed off to work. I was really tired so I went back to bed a little. When I awoke again the sun was out so I decided to take Sierras dog for a walk, I walked around the area checking out small shops and brought a few bits and pieces for lunch. Sierras place has a pool upstairs so after lunch if the weather is still nice I am hoping to go for a swim. Unfortunately the weather changed and with it came the rain which meant an end to my pool hopes. Later in the afternoon Sierra came home and we had a good chat about travels, couchsurfing, life and everything in-between. I had offered to make dinner tonight so we went and got a few things from the market and then I started to prepare my famous Aussie Omelette. I went all out and used roasted peppers, red and white onion, carrot, zucchini, salshishong and cheese for Sierras half. Luckily Sierra had wonderful cookware which made doing a deep dish omelette very simple. To accompany the omelette I made a simple tomato, red onion, roasted pine nut and Balsamic vinegar salad. Just as we sat down to eat Sierras roommate Dan arrived home, luckily I had made plenty and could offer for him to join us which he did. The meal was a big Sucess and everyone enjoyed. I then sat and talked with Dan who is a freelance economist about investments and wow did I learn a few things. The beauty of the conversation was in the fact that Dan could bring it down to my level and explain it in terms that I could understand. It all of a sudden became quite apparent that I could not only be doing more with my investments but how I could protect them into the future. I will spend the next few months researching and then hopefully make some changes with my investments. The topic soon changed to Latin America and Dans experiences living here over the last 5 years. I am still in the process of deciding weather staying put and enrolling myself in a language school is a good idea. I think if I can find reasonable priced 1-1 tuition then it would certainly be worth doing.
