We arrived in Bangkok yesterday with just over 24 hours before our flight home. The train journey from Chiang Mai was an experience in itself. From about 8pm a bunch of young western backpackers headed to the restaurant cart and started drinking. The staff put on cheesy 90s pop songs and the night started. It was like a club on train tracks. The only down point was that it closed at 11pm and I had to return to bed when all I wanted to do was party!!!!

In the morning, we arrived in Bangkok A standard 3/4 hours late, and headed straight to the hostel. We checked in, showered, grabbed some food, and headed off around Bangkok. We went to the big Buddha at Wat Indrawihan, Wat Benchamabophit, and The Gold Mount at Wat Sraket. After this we chilled at the hostel before heading out for dinner and drinks.

What was going to be 1 bucket and bed by 1am, turned into three buckets, a club cleverly named 'The Club', chicken kebabs, and home about 4. You have to love Bangkok. s*** city but great nightlife.

Having spent the day in Subway, we are now on our way home. We have already flown from Bangkok to Hanoi and are now flying from Hanoi to London, with about 30 minutes to go until we land!!!
