Scuba Diving!
We booked this up the day before so were fortunate to get on the tour. Went out to two dive sites, completing our first 2 sea dives and dives 5 & 6 in our log books.
Dive 1 was the deepest where we dropped to about 16/17m which is pretty cold - we descended to the side of the boat then swam south for 15 minutes along a cliff reef formation. Nick got some cool pics on this journey, we started with 200 PSIs of air and the crew really wanted us back at 40/50... we pushed it a little bit and actually had to come up 30m away from the ship at 30 PSI as we wouldn't have made it back - but they weren't too bothered.
Dive 2 was a sloped cove formation, we took a route out keeping the cliff on our right shoulder and looping back round. Apparently this cliff was a sheer drop of 35m and we were cruising along at about 7m so to look down and not see the bottom was incredible and I think I was about to get a bit of vertigo but I pulled it back and carried on. We did this leg in about 5 minutes as we wanted to see as much of the cove as possible. There were lots of tight 'vallies' to squeeze through, but each pocket got progressively larger with some decent sized fish down there. We even got to see a clown fish made famous by the movie 'Finding Nemo'. With our last minutes of air we tried to find the giant clam which we were told was down there - and we did! No pictures but took a mental one.
