hello from rainy rainy cairns!!!!! urgh such a waste of time!!! well got half an hour in the semi-sun this morning at the lagoon thing they have here, and watched some crazy waterskiing race which was quite cool.

my hostel here is basically a resort, dont think many backpackers are here which is a shame but never mind. so when i got here i pretty much got changed and went straight out to meet some friends for a big night out, and seeing as i hadnt really eaten a proper meal all day, it turned into a pretty messy night lol but being the weird person i am, i was up bright and early at 8.30 this morning, not wanting to waste any sunshine time, seeing as there seems to be precious little up here at the moment.

my next adventure is tomorrow - i am going on a rainforest and waterfalls tour which people have told me is really really good, just hoping the rainforest doesnt come with complimentary spiders - would be such a shame seeing as i have managed to steer clear from those 8 legged horrors all the way up the coast! actually really looking forward to it - there is a place we go where there are wild platapuss' which is a pretty rare thing to see. then on tuesday i am going on a day trip to the reef for snorkelling all day and for a suba dive, which two of my friends did yesterday and came back absolutely raving about how amazing it was!then i have a day to chill by the pool or whatever on wednesday, then i fly out to singapore on thursday to meet caz for 3 weeks in thailand!!!! wahoooo!!!
