Joseph-- Sorry for not blogging in forever, problems arose and we ended up, for the first time on this vacation, backpacking. Which is quite a slap in the face when we had just got back from island hopping in easy breezy Greece. In Mykonos, we decided time was running out and that we already had captured the essence of Greece, so we called our parents trying to find an airplane or boat out of here. My dad found us a flight to Milan, Italy the next day, so we jumped on the opportunity and left the good days behind. Again, the Greek gods were still trying to punish us for our wrong doings, and made the Greek people go on strike that day delaying the plane 3 hours.
Mickey- Not much happened in Milan, really. We arrived and were left bewildered as no one was willing to help us. The information desk lady was useless and rude and refused to help us figure out where we could go or stay in Milan and sent us away because we were "blocking the line". Luckily, a nice British guy talked to us and decided to help us out by telling the woman that his "friends" (us) needed help and that she was going to do that for us. So we were finally given attention and sent to the tourist information desk. Here, we were told they only do information on trains, and we were sent to another office. At the last office, we were simply asked where we wanted to go (and almost forced an answer out of us since we really didn't know) and promptly pushed aside after they had printed a time table for us.
Joseph- We decided to go to Verona to see what we have read so much about, Juliet's balcony. On to the next blog
