Nord Koster, Sweden
Mickey - So although our trip is over and we are currently flying over the vast oceans we thought we'd recap what happened over the last week. We mostly hung around and went to the beaches and "swam" (you don't really swim in Sweden, you mostly jump in once or twice then go heat up in the sun) and took hikes along the island. Joseph would a…
lalo yeah joseph. what about the ziplock bags?
re: Zell Am See, AustriaDaddy T Now I got myself going... Q: Why did the Norwegian bring a rolled-up piece of sandpaper to the desert? A: Thought it was a map. Q: How do you sink a Norwegian submarine? A: Scuba-dive down and knock on the door. Q: How do you sink a Norwegian submarine again? A: Dive down and knock on the door again. Wait for them to open the window and say, “You aren’t fooling us this time!” Q: How do you sink a Danish submarine? A: Dive down and knock on the window. Wait for them to open the door and say, “Come on, who do you take us for? Norwegians?” Q: How do you sink a Swedish submarine? A: Give it a Norwegian crew. Q: How do you say “genius” in Norway? A: Tourist.
re: Strömstad, SwedenDaddy T You haven't mentioned all the Norwegians normally overwhelming the island... They are still there? By the way: Do you know what the difference is between Norwegians and mosquitos? Mosquitos are only annoying during the summer.... He he he
re: Strömstad, SwedenDaddy T eating Rudolph!?!?!?! What! Those crazy Vikings have no sense of staying off Santa's Naughty List. You will all be without presents. So it sounds like the island have you in its grip and you are slowly turning in to islanders. Eating and easy strolls around the small island and quick swims in the crisp waters. Sounds nice. I will leave Dallas on Saturday. Looking forward seeing you soon.
re: Strömstad, SwedenDaddy T I'm alive!!!!
re: photo fromDaddy T great blogging as always youngsters!! Always the highlight of the day to read it. I myself have been in Denver so I have not had time to read. But I just got back.
re: Relaxation Day 1Julia :3 HI!1! yoseff and mickey(:
re: Relaxation Day 1Patrick grandparents LATE Sunday night: Who's that guy in the B&W photo? How about some pictures, and include those terrific grandparents---and say hello to them from us. Genie and Joe
re: Relaxation Day 1Joe P JFR, your lovely family is in Guadalajara, cooking up some beans for your return----don't you know? We are glad you are on the island. Glad you're with grandparents. They are the ones, after all, who really dote on these adventures. Your comments about the island incorporating a bit of all your travels was sooooo interesting----and also that you hate to let it go just yet.
re: Relaxation Day 1Oldie Funny:) what about those dozen ziplock bags u brought....
re: Zell Am See, Austriabirgitta/herbert Hi Genie and Joe, NO - we are definitely NOT interested in taking over GREECE ( just kidding.... no)! And about getting lost in Plano we heard quite similar stories about that subject....... right Mickey? And M&J: We joke with love, you know that.. You are a great couple!
re: Zell am See, Zell am See District, AustriaGenie and Joe Oh boy, what a glowing blog. Just think, you went all that way so you could visit a playground. It all sounded challenging and fun, as the pictures show as well. About getting lost---well that's true even in Plano, eh J? (just kidding---not) Somehow we had hoped that M had that covered for this trip----but sunce all your best adventures are results of getting lost, that must be the best way after all. By the way, we are amused by your sophisticated solutions for the world's problems, triggered by the taxi driver's take on the Greek crisis and the Europeans' tough response. Yes, maybe the Swedes SHOULD take over economies and let the Mexicans plan the parties.
re: Zell am See, Zell am See District, Austriabirgitta/herbert your blog is the highlight of the day here at Nordkoster! Last time Birgitta was up until 1am just to wait for your blog. And she normally hit the hay around 10.30! By the way Joseph, did you see that the cow you were sitting in front of actually was a bull and you a red raincoat? On the net today's weather looked good and I really hope the forecast was correct.......
re: Zell am See, Zell am See District, AustriaBirgitta Please! Don´t get lost anymore. The alps are endless. Get your self a map so you can find all hiking paths. It is so fun to read about all your adventures. I look forward to the next blog. I like your new clothes. Just what You need a summer in Europe. The photos are awesome.
