Josephsito- well. People make mistakes, you do too so don't judge >:o
well... after our yummy lunch , Mickey wants to write it :
So after our pizza and gelato we wandered to the train station expecting to catch a train to Innsbruck, Austria. However, we were quickly told "No Innsbruck!" by the train-ticket-seller who could hardly speak English. Instead, he pointed at "Munchen" on the time table while saying "Here, here!". Not knowing what "Munchen" was, we asked if it was in Austria and the man replied "yes, yes" with a nonchalant wave of his hand. Joseph and I proceeded to that train's platform and boarded the train to "Munchen". We realized we had made a huge mistake when the ticket-checker was collecting tickets to "Munich" (he could speak English). We tried fixing it, but by this point the train had left Verona and been on it's way to Munich for 30 minutes. We were told many times that we couldn't change our tickets and they were nonrefundable and blah blah as We kept trying to fix the situation. It's 1 am
and I'm tired so Joseph will finish this :)
J- so here we are now, at a hotel in Germany. We plan on going on a bike tour if we can tomorrow. We will tell you guys how that went tomorrow!

birgitta/herbert You guys really are great blogger s! FUNNY!!!!l We were afraid Verona wasn´t much fun for you but it looks like it turned out ok. We would recommend to take a train back to Austria if the weather is good. You could go to Kitzbühel a small, nice village from the 11th century. the "turistbüro" is in the center of the village, near the church. you can take a cable car to the top and go for a daylong hike starting in - Pass Thurn - check with turistbüro. Trains to Kitzbühel leave several times a day and the tripp takes 2.15 h. Unfortunately we could not see the price on the net. Just an idea...... you perhaps have better ones. KEEP ON BLOGGING!!!!!!!
birgitta/herbert IF you decide to go to Kitzbühel, make sure to leave the train at Kitzbühel HAHNENKAMM the 2nd stop in Kitzbühel. The first one is Kitzbühel SCHWARZACH. it is just outside the village...
Joe & Genie We check your blog daily, wondering where you are now and what you're doing. We hope the time in Munchen worked out well for you----there's a lot to see there. How long before you head for Sweden?
