Day 5 Our car turned up today so after a complementary full English breakfast we headed of to Cape Point via Boulders Beach. Day 4 We were up early this morning to catch the 9am ferry over to Robben Island. The tour itself is a very somber experience, starting with a coach journey around the island during which the tour guide gave a brief history of each landmark. Then you are shown through to the prison blocks, where an ex political prisoner gives you a presentation of what it was like to be incarcerated on Robben Island. All in all a worthwhile trip! Day 3 Up early for breakfast, which was a communal affair, the owner asked the guests to introduce ourselves to the other guests as apparently this is why we booked a guest house and not a hotel!
