Well didnt get the job with the charity, bunch of hippies anyhow. Weve both got bit run-down from lack of work in sydney so have decided to pack up our crap and head on up the coast. Before doing so we decided on having an action packed few days, getting all the things done we hadnt got around too. Thus, we took a tour around the opera house - pretty sweet. Hannah not too bothered by this, where as i became highly excited at the prospect of running around inside it - not quite sure why, just depicts australia in one buildning i guesse. After this we sat in a coffee shop over looking the harbour which was nice.
Next day we went swimming, not quite at the top of the 'must do list' but on a hot day is always nice. Took a trip to the blue mountains, about 2 hrs train ride from sydney. Walked around the landscape, paddled in some waterfalls, all very nice and relaxed compared to the city.
Before leaving the city we decided to do a walk along the sea from bondi to coogee, a nice walk which should take an hour or so. We did this at sunset which was all very nice, but got tired - its not an hour at all, we walked for 45 mins or so and werent even half way. Walked off the track and got the bus home :-)
Booked a ticket with greyhound which goes all the way up the coast to cairns (the very top for those of you that struggle with geography) can get on and off as many times as we like, ticket valid for 6 months. Heading to a place called coffs harbour, about 8 hours north of sydney. Byebye sydney
