A very Happy Happy 29th Birthday to my darling husband, Ramsay, today! He got a very good present too, a new apartment! We arrived yesterday at our new home on the school campus. We have been shopping once at a giant store up the street for some basic items. We are going to go back today to get a few more things to make it just right. I will post a few photos of the new place in an album, so check it out. AND absolutely no freaking out, Mom!

It's pretty bare to begin with but it's got all the basic things we need, an expansive blank canvas to creatively make into a home. It came with the living room furniture, the dining table + four chairs, the beds, a few side tables with chairs, a desk and stool for the computer stuff, and some of the bigger (yet smaller) appliances. We have since got a few extra pillows, 2 small rugs, dishes and flatware, towels, and a small batch of groceries. Like I said, we are going to go out again and get a few more things. We really want some shelves and maybe a little table and chair set for the kids room. We have everything we need and each other and we have all made it safe and healthy, which is my main concern. Much to be grateful for! This is exactly what we were looking for! We wanted to get out of American richness for a little while and live like the majority of the world lives. It gives us all more patience, more thankfulness for the little things, more respect for what we have, and more love for those closest! Miss you all! Much Love!
