Wednesday - Noosa. White sandy beaches, expensive boutiques and beachside cafes, Maria's idea of heaven. We enjoyed our first experience of relaxing on an Australian beach after 2 weeks of activity. I missed a spot on Maria's back when I wa sun creaming her up, leaving an impressive burn in the shape of a fish. In the evening we sat in one of the cafes and watched the world, and a massive dog which scared me, go by.
Thursday - We walked along the coast in the famous Noosa National Park. We ate toasted sandwiches on the beach before jumping on the bus to come to Rainbow Beach. The only colours
we've seen so far have been the blue of the sky and yellow of the sand. Tomorrow we will be embarking on our 3 day, 2 night, organised tour of Fraser island. We will update the blog upon our return. We are staying on Eco lodges, I'm sure Maria will have some riveting explanation of what makes them environmentally friendly.
This evening we will be listening to an Irish singer in the bar, pretending to be back in Temple Bar, Dublin!

Veronica Enjoying reading about your experiences. Fraser Island looks exciting. Alls well here. Have a lovely evening listening to the fiddidly diddidly music.
Veronica That should be fiddley diddley music.
Dad Was it as good as the Temple Bar though? We are now back in the internet world, so good to catch up. Hope Maria spends more time explaining the environmental issues than worrying about washing her hair! Sounds like you might be in for some bushtucker-type trials out in the Island. You will be thrilled to know that the Hornets are off and running. Deeeeeeney!!!! Boooom!
