Saturday - With Natasha still recovering we spent a lazy day going through markets, walking to the harbour and lazing around the lagoon. I was disappointed by the lack of yachts but we managed to find some smaller ones to keep me entertained. That evening we walked around the bars, had an ice cream and listened to some love music.
Sunday - got the bus and ferry to Magnetic Island. Unaware as to the reason of the name but we did see some beautiful whales on the ferry over! That night we sat with dinner and cocktails chatting to some new friends as we listened to an appalling bad AC/DC tribute band.
Monday - So far we have relaxed on the beach and by the pool. We are catching the ferry back to Australia in a bit before travelling up to mission beach. We are told that mission beach is a great place to engage in some R&R.
One week to go and many more things to look forward too!

Dad Shame about the AC/DC tribute. But all part of the experience. Pleased to see you taking a few days to do some R&R - or chillax for Natasha. Hope her land legs return quickly. Magnetic Island is so-called after an experience Captain Cook had with his compass, I believe. Probably due to the vibrations from AC/DC. Lets rock!! Nice parrots. C'mon Veronica, where are you? Lets be 'avin you.
Veronica Well I'm back!!! I've missed such a lot girls, dinner under the stars ,Capt jack adventures, tribute bands, rum! and now r and r. Loving the pictures. We has a fantastic time in Sligo, reminiscing and lots of laughing. El Guapo was even dancing one night! We loved our postcard, thank you so much and I cant wait to meet my cuddly koala bear! Well Dusty Bottoms and Lucky Day, keep adventuring and and I'm intrigued by the 'love' music or is it 'live' music? Keep enjoying x
