Well, we finally arrived in London!! Wait a minute, Jennifer and I arrived, but our luggage didn't! Flying from San Antonio to Chicago turned out to be much longer than expected. Due to bad weather, O'Hare Airport was closed down for part of the aftertnoon so our plane just did circles for an hour or so. We touched down at O'Hare at 6:00 pm just as our plane to London was departing. After a couple of phone calls to American Airlines, we were finally put on a British Airways plane.

We arrived in London 3 1/2 hours late. We went to Baggage Pick-Up, but our bags weren't there!! We put in a claim with the airline and that took far too long but we were told that our bags would arrive at our hotel in Prague on July 1st - 2 days away. That means that Jen and I will have to wear the same clothes for 3 1/2 days! Yuck.

Then it was off to catch our plane to Frankfurt, but our luck was still not good. We missed that plane too and Lufthansa decided that in order to get us to Frankfurt we had to pay them a lot more money. Well, what's a stranded tourist to do!!! Pay up. But of course, they couldn't get us out for 5 1/2 hours and so all our plans were put back a few hours....
