The drive to Prague went smoothly and entry into the Czech Republic was the same as Poland - we just drove right through. Finding our hotel was the same as Poland as well, however, it was mid-afternoon so it was easier to see. I finally spotted a sign for our hotel and we found it. Once inside our room, Jennifer and I were happy to find our luggage - at least one of Jen's was there. Her second piece of luggage was still missing. We were told by the courier that it would arrive the next day. We kept our fingers crossed.
We explored Prague and ate at the Prince Hotel on their rooftop terrace restaurant. The view was amazing. After dinner, we walked to Charles Bridge, climbed the Tower and then strolled the bridge.
The next morning, we took the tram into the city and explored Prague Castle. It's such an imposing castle that it took us 3 hours and we still could have seen more! After many phone calls to the hotel and the courier charged with delivering Jen's bag, we were finally guaranteed that it would be delivered by 5:30 pm. It was!!
After lunch, we walked over to the Communist Museum which was very interesting and informative. We ate dinner in the Old Town Square and then went on a Ghost and Beer Tour. Our tour guide was a 19 year old college student who was difficult to understand. The tour was more about legends than ghosts but we had fun just the same and the beer was good at the end of it. We then convinced a very sweet older taxi driver to drive us back to our hotel for all the Crowns we had left.
