We finally arrived in Heidelberg which had been our home for 3 years! We exchanged our Skoda for an Opel and we were off to find our hotel. Well, after sitting in an hour of traffic in Prague, we set out for Rothenburg ab der Tauber. Jen and I felt a sense of relief once we crossed into Germany. Finally, we would be able to communicate. Rothenburg is a walled city about 1 1/2 hours east of Heidelberg. It's one of my favorite cities in Germany.
