Oh what a day so far!! I woke up around 7:30 to get ready for our first day at class...boo...we walked to the school which was very unique and interesting. I cannot pronounce the name of our school much less spell the name, but it is a hotel and culinary school. The entry walls of each classroom were glass and the structure was very cool. They also have a bar on the fourth floor! We had lunch at the school which was like eating in an expensive restaurant, but nothing I really liked so I had a roll so that would tide me over along witha couple of veggies that I had. After lunch we left to go to another campus to get our IDs taken so that we could access the school, which is open 24/7 which is awesome! Fun fact of the day: School is free in Denmark, no tuition! They actually pat the students 4100 Kr a month for going to school...I think I am living in the wrong country! We later on went to the Botanical Gardens which were beautiful and then stopped in an art museum for a bit. It was extremely hot outside today and we walked probably 5 miles give or take...so we headed back to the hotel after the museum and rested for a while. We have a presentation due on Firday so I had to read a case study and then I fell a sleep for a bit. Around 7 I went out ot eat with a few other people. We stopped in a what I thought was mexican food but it was Spanish Tappas and the menu included rabit, frog legs, squid and other of creatures, so we walked out. After lunch and last nights awful meal, I wanted something good to eat. So, we found this really cute caffe called Caffe Classe which had Cheeseburgers!! It was really good so we sat there and ate and chatted for a while and then headed back to the hotel. I worked on a group project for about an hour and then now I ma back in my room getting ready for bed! As for tomorrow...class again! Oh yeh, another observation...there is no grass here, so I am trying to figure out where all of the dogs I see walking around use the restroom. Dogs do not have to walk on leashes, but they are so well behaved. I know Sugar would be running around like a wild goose and Sophie would just run away. But these dogs just walk calmy behind or in front of their owner and they don't bark or bother anyone. I have to go out of my way to pet one because they don't won't just walk up to you if you call them. As for the bathroom choices...there are streets and sidewalks and no grass..unless you walk out fo the city for a while..poor doggies!
