Ciao, well today we say arriverderch Roma. It is 2 minutes to 8 and we are waiting outside the appartmento for our taxi, girls in panic mode, due at 8,let's go to the taxi stand, just moving off when at 8.01 taxi arrives,must be at train station by 9.45 am taxi ride takes us ten minutes.

Train on time on board in this compartment style setting and on our way to Naples. The scenery is filled with many different landscapes volcanic mountains ,flat extending fields and the bay of Napale, which to me looks like grande lake,not a wave to be seen.

We were met at the station in Naples by A man named John Franco our taxi driver, on the station he said hello and not another word til we got into the car,from that moment he never stopped talking ,this not a bad thing, but his English was as bad as our Italian so little or nothing was understood.

The taxi arrived at our hotel the view is fantasico,steep mountain ranges and of course deep deep valleys and sprinkled through out are numerous villages, totally majestic.

Later this evening we met Marcello the tour guide,( his name is the same as the lover in the movie"Under the Tuscan Sun", strange that I think.

Marcello explains what will be happening over the next 7 days and lets everyone know that there are options, these being transport on stages of the walking.

Well that is the beginning of the amalfi coast walk I hope you can see the funny thing as well as the blessimo thing.I andShirley will keep the journey going just keep reading and let your imagination see what we see.
