This is it we are leaving Florence to travel by car to the heart of Tuscany. The villa we will be looking for is between Certaldo  and Gambassie Terme. Shirley suggests  we take the more scenic route which takes us past some Bella (beautiful) country side and we arrive at a small town which goes by the name Greve, pronounced gravy, the reason we stop here was through the research Shirley she had found that there was a wine degustation somewhere I this village. We parked the car and went looking, we were like hounds on the scent of a fox. Wandering  around the village we stop at a cafe where Shirley with her fantastic  Italian, asked the waiter where we could fine this marvelous wine shop, he answer her in beautiful English, funny that.

The wine shop was something  I had never seen before . It was huge, all sort of wines, red,white , stickies and foreign. We had the choice of buying a 5, 10, or l5 euro card to taste the many wines available and tasting ranged from 0.60 to 5.00 euros,you just insert your card, press the button under the wine you wish to try and presto there it was,the shop was run by just 2 people. A fantastic time was had by all.

Time to move on. So it off to find the villa, this seem that this would a piece of cake, with garman working properly,should be there in no time, but driving on the wrong side of the road, plus driving a manual, didn't leave much time for spotting turns,so you can imagine the tension in the car,but we finally got there and to our surprise most after at around the same time.

 The villa is as I expected it to be and the country side around it is breathtaking. Our party of Balty, Karen, Di ,are in the same villa long with two others Janine, Chris, all the others are in the big villa,all 11of them tomorrow is a day to plan so I may or may not write domani.
