DAY 2
Thankfully left dehli for agra, Deepak was there to pick us up and we stopped at loads of places on the way. We stopped at a hindu temple where they we having a massive celebration, we were made to feel really welcome and they showed us around and we joined in with all their worshipping stuff, did loads of Harri Krishna chanting, they tried to convert us which was hilarious, its to late for me! We then went to a massive tmple just outside Agra, they are all starting to blur into one if i'm honest. Then Deepak gave us a sneak peak of the Taj Mahal from the river as its shut today, goimg tomorrow, can't wait. Nice hotel tonight, couldnt be worst than dehli though. There is a pizza hut and a costa outside. Had a coffee in costa but there was a power cut, so technically it was an authentic indian experience!
Day 3
Up at 5am to catch the Taj Mahal at sunrise, but it was cloudy! It was amazing though, really serene and absolutely massive. Nicola saw someone she knew which was freaky! Back to the hotel and reality, mouldy toast for breakfast.
Then we left for Jaipur, on the way we visited an abandoned city called Fatepur Sikri which was cool. Deepaks indian music is starting to aggrevate, and if we fall asleep or put our i pods in he turns it up, i'm actually starting to learn some of the words and it's only been 3 days! Also his car horn useage has increased and become more erratic, the beeps at stuff 200m away but not the person who walekd out in front of him, weird!
Our hotel here is amazing, a cultual heritage hotel with a roof veranda to chill out on, going to sat an extra night here. Finally starting to enjoy myself!
Day 4
Staying in Jaipur, been to Amber fort which was on a mountainside and was the best fort yet! Went to an observatory and Jaipur palace this afternoon, was a bit boring really and was so hot today didn't really have the energy. Finally ate something from a street stall, tasted good but he used his hands so watch this space!!! The asseling and begging has reached new levels here, actually getting a bit angry about it now, they dont understand no! Loads of people want pictures of us, we dont mind the kids and women but its mostly men. Finally went agains everything I stand for and bought some Hareem trousers, for comfort rather than looking good, as beleive me they do not look good! Toe nd a stressfull tiring day I asked Deepak to take us to a cake shop, yum! Chill out on the rooftop tonight.

Ruth Hey mate it all sounds a bit hectic! I bet it's even hotter than the grand palace in Bangkok too??! I'll let you off the hareem pants on the grounds that they are solely for wear in India alone! Lol. I hope you are managing to enjoy the experience of it all, even if it is one you won't want to repeat in a hurry! Think of all the amazing memories you are making which will last a lifetime! Take care of each other, lots of love x x
Work Dad Glad you're enjoying yourself now. Did you have to join a harem to get your pants? Are you sure Deepak is who he says he is, you haven't accidentally married him have you!?Keep eating the mouldy toast, it'll probably have penicillin in it.I'm at work now and everyone says hello. Mummy Maggs says remember what she said. What did she say? Tell her I have ordered her elephant for her and it should be there in time for the wedding.
