This morning was spent walking around Puebla with a few of the girls from my tour. We didn't have much time however so only really got to see one cathedral but it was the main one. I called it my warm up to Europe . Apparently I am going to see a butt load of cathedrals in Europe almost to the point I might get sick of them. Happy days ahead ..
I have been craving fruit so finally got to a fruit shop to buy bananas and oranges . The fruit shop was so dodgy though . It was selling uncooked chicken as well and it was just sitting on the counter where you go pay. Not wrapped or anything . Bloody gross ! The only good thing is the fruit all up only cost 4 pesos which is like 40 or 50 cents AUS dollars .
Next up was our five hour bus ride to Oaxaca . This is another city about South-East of Mexico . Known for its arts and culture . The bus ride was fine minus the disgusting smelly loo at the back of the bus. Whenever someone went it would send a wave of stench down the bus and at times it was unbearable. I was going to see how strong my pelvic floor muscles are and try hold on for the whole trip but my bloody bladder went nope time to go . I did the walk of strench to the toilet and was surprised how long I could hold my breath . Maybe if do alright under water after all.
We arrived in Oaxaca at about 5 pm . Went to our hotel and had an orientation walk then dinner afterwards. Dinner was nice . I had a local favourite called Mole . Which is like a famous sauce . I had mine with beef . The sauce looked a lot like chocolate sauce .
Afterwards the party Kicked on a local bar . We had cocktails and more beer. That concluded our night . Hopefully I sleep well tonight !
