Apparently some things in Costa Rica just close on random days of the week. For example the national park is closed on a Monday. That was an overwhelming disappointment. So all dressed in our adventure outfits we decided to go on our own expedition. A day of jumping over creeks, finding tropical crabs and choosing the road less travelled kept us well entertained. Heading through the county's capital city we soon imaging its not a place that we want to spend too much time. Just a quick taxi ride and a wait at a bus terminal though, and we're on our way to the beach! A little over three hours on the bus and we're nearing our destination.
