After coffee and breakfast we packed lunch and headed off for a hike determined to walk to a village down the beach from Hyams.

When we finally arrived it became clear that it was one of the Naval base's which doesn't permit public entry!

Had lunch sitting on a bridge next to the Naval base and overlooking about $300 worth of oysters. We opened a few (just for practice) but we were too scared to eat any for fear that we would get ill.

When we arrived home from our 8km round trip we made Johnny cakes (thanks dad!) and got stuck into some more reading.

Moonlight swim followed by a cold shower and a nudie dash to the van!
