So these past two days have really been an aspiring fashion designer's(me) dream!!!!!!!!!!!! thursday we went to this store that is only where the designers and celebrities shop. It is really exclusive and looks like an apartment from the outside and u dont even kno it is a store because they dont realy want regular people to go in there. it is basically avante garde designs and art work of what they think fashion is heading towards. it was so cool. we met the owner and starter of the store and it was really amazing. nothing i could afford of course.
this gurl taylor and i found this amazing fur zipup vest with a hood. it was soo amazing. 2000 euro of course. if one of us got it we prob wouldve hated each other...then we saw another gurl in our class eyeing it...we were like if that b**** takes our fur......haha but she didnt get it either.
then we shopped for a little aroudn the area until we had to meet with Martine Sitbon, a french fashion designer, up and coming. We went to her design house and saw her ready-to-wear collection....amazing. met all her staff saw her show room and where everything is made. Met her!!!! and got to ask her all these questions. got an exclusive magazine curated by her..it was truly fabulous. hehe.
OK...so as if the day couldnt get any better. danielle wanted to get these sleeves from the exclusive store so we went back and the lady was making danielle try on all this stuff...and danielle is like u realize i cant afford any of this...and she was like at least u can say u tried it all on!!! she was sweet and we were talkin about how the sleeves by a couture designer Gustovolin were great and we loved loved loved his collection. So the lady called Gustovolin and got us a meeting with him on Monday!!!!!!!!!!!! and he said to tell our teacher to call him and we'll set something up! so hopefully this will happen because danielle talked to her this morning and she was like thats greAT!
Then today we traveled 3 hours to Granville Normandy by the sea it was beautiful but a little chilly to see Christian Diors house. it was quaint with a lovely garden and it was a pink house. haha there were tons of flowers it was cute, very gurly. and inside his house was a museum full of old garments he created. it was very chic and sophisticated. The sign says no pictures so i couldnt take any pics and then it also had a pic of a cupcake crossed out and this gurl was like no cupcakes?!?!?! like upset but i wa slike haha do u have a cupcake that u need to eat this second...and im pretty sure it just means no food. idiot. haha
then we wondered and met back up for our 3 hour train ride back. this gurl in my class proceded to talk soooooo loudly all 3 hours and eat her stinky cheese. it was so smelly a french lady moved to another car. ahahaha. as if that french lady doesnt smell. and i had to use the bathroom but the door is confusing and all these lilttle french soccer players were showing me how to use it it was so cute. o and on the way there we saw this mutant cat...it was siamese but it had red eyes and was white a long and sooooo scary it was a devil cat i swear. and i wanted to take a pic of it cuz it was a true mutant but the owner was a crazy cat lover and kept kissing it and when i tried to she gave me a stare and i didnt want her to makeher cat attack me....it was scary enough lookin at it. ugh. mutant french cats.
p.s. ive been seeing a ton of french bull dogs for goomba. haha o and all the dogs in Granville were soo mangy and dirty. random. that is all. best days and i kno y this course is so worth it :)
