hellooooo. so today was a school day. its so cold and rainy here everyday its depressing. I have never been this cold before in the month of JULY!!!! i blame it all on creepy french men.
anyways, i found a cafe to eat at for lunch that is pretty cheap. thank god because everything is so expensive. And i am getting soo fat becuase all the desserts here are probably the best looking and tasting desserts i've ever had. There are tarts and macaroons and glaces (ice cream) and chantilly (whip cream)....everything looks so delicious.
I went to the Champs Elysees and it isnt that great shopping wise because it has all the mainstream stores from the states that unless you are from Nebraska it is nothing amazing.(sorry to my nebraskan blog readers). anyways, there was this famous dessert place...because every dessert place is famous and they hav all these french chocolates and macaroons....so i am going to buy some to bring home a day before i leave for NYC! yay. But i didnt buy anythign today. My friend Margaret did and there was this macaroon called ROSE...and i took a bite of it and it really tasted like a flower. it was so weirdly amazing. I've never eaten a flower but if i would it wouldve tasted like that....i have always wanted to eat the flowers Thumper eats in Bambi..haha
I finished my homeowkr fairly early and hopefully i will be able to go to the Louvre tomorrow after school....other than that i'm offf to bed... Au Revoir.
