Joanne and I had an early start today, we had to be out of our room by 9am, as we were moving rooms, finally got our new room @ 10am, had a quick bite for brekkie and then decided to head to Torongo Zoo.
We got the bus to the ferry wharf bought our ticket which included return ferry crossing and entrance to the Zoo and a cable cart ride (but the cable carts were closed due to strong winds - told Joanne to lay off the beans)! It was pretty good getting the ferry again, as it gave us antoher chance to see the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, which is always good for back drops to our pictures.
You guys may be familiar with Toranga Zoo as it has been in the news recently they have just had 5 elephants 4 female and 1 male arrive from Thailand, they seem to have settled in very nicely and are enjoying their new surroundings.
As you can imagine we got very snap happyy seeing the different animals, Ann we have even managed pictures as requested with the two of us together. I got some snaps of the cutest Koala sitting happily in the tree without a care in the world just having a good feed in the tree. We were a bit disappointed as we missed the opportunity of having our picture taken with a Koala (next time guys - hopefully @ Australia Zoo)!!!!
